Jo Moloney – Yoga Teacher
Attending a yoga class in a local hall proved surprisingly life changing for Jo. That morning’s practice challenged her flexibility, balance and strength. Downward Dog felt anything but restful! However, post-class she felt an energy that was new (and which lingered), so went back for more, more and more. The result was a body and mind makeover: she became calmer, happier and her attitude became more positive.
Yoga gave her tools to manage feelings of anxiety. Jo experienced a greater sense of clarity and began to pause before reacting, taking time to consider the best response (if any). She met and connected with like-minded people and has benefited richly from their friendship. Perhaps the greatest gift yoga brought to the surface was the courage that existed deep within her.
Jo enjoys continuous learning and education in the field of yoga teaching and says:
“With yoga in my life, I’ll never stop learning.”
It’s true! In March 2019 Jo was fortunate to attend and complete the Blissology Yoga Advanced Alignment and Adjustment 50-hour module with Eoin Finn.
In 2017 Jo completed Level 2 150 hour Post Graduate Yoga Teacher Training with One Family Yoga and Fitness. Modules studied included: Restorative Yoga; Advanced Adjusting and Modifications Using Props; and Yoga Nidra. This higher-level study is a great complement to Jo’s Level 1 Yoga Teacher qualification obtained through Being Yoga, where she studied Vinyasa Yoga Asana, Pranayama and Meditation (including Yoga Nidra).
Jo’s mission is to help others experience the joy and benefits of yoga in a supportive, fun and friendly atmosphere, so they too can craft a life they love, benefiting not only themselves but all beings. Classes vary week by week to keep things interesting, and Jo offers variations for poses so everyone can practise safely and in the right way for their body.
Jillian Warren – Level 2 Yoga Teacher / Yoga Therapist / Reiki Practitioner
Jill’s Yoga journey began over 25 years ago, and it was those early experiences that ignited a love of Yoga in her, even though she didn’t fully know it at the time.
What unfolded in the years that followed was a realisation that Yoga helped to bring a sense of calm and moments of stillness in an often-chaotic life, it also gave an opportunity to connect with her inner self. Yoga gave her better physical health and well-being and undeniably has been instrumental in nurturing mental wellness and the feeling of hope.
Regular attendance at Yoga classes over the years eventually led to Jill seeking a deeper experience of Yoga and in 2014 she undertook teacher training, studying in the Hatha style of Yoga. She feels blessed and privileged to have had the opportunity to share in the traditions, wisdom and discipline of this ancient practice.
Jill is committed to life-long learning and has continued to study since her initial training with some of her trainings including:

Kristi Manger – Hatha & Pregnancy Yoga Teacher
Kristi first discovered yoga in 2006 whilst on a meditation retreat in Northern Thailand. Not fully understanding at the time why, Kristi had a deep sense that yoga needed to be a part of her life. This calling stayed with her, leading Kristi to complete her Level 1 Hatha Yoga teacher training in 2019 at Yogasol.
Kristi believes the study, practice and discipline of yoga is a lifelong journey, and to be a teacher one must also be a student. As such Kristi completed her training in Pre & Post Natal yoga in 2020, having a deep sense and purpose to support women through the sacred journey to motherhood.
In 2022 Kristi completed 150hr post-graduate training with BIYOME, focusing on Restorative yoga, Kundalini yoga & meditation and Trauma informed yoga. Kristi aims to continue her training towards yoga therapy so she can share the amazing benefits of yoga and meditation with her students and community.
Kate Collins – Yoga Teacher / Sound Therapist / Reiki Practitioner
Kate’s yoga journey started in 2013. Suffering for many years with depression and anxiety, the birth of her second child and the pre and post-natal depression that accompanied the pregnancy, sent her searching for ways to not be a slave to her mind. During that first class, a light, a knowing, a purpose lit up in her and she has been practicing and studying yoga and healing modalities since. She knew 100% in her heart that this was her path, and that she would one day share her study and experience with others.
Kate is a real-life yoga “nerd” She loves all styles and practices, and her classes are strongly focused around creating a safe, nurturing and fun space for people to be less in the external world, and more in their internal world. People often leave her classes, feeling deeply connected, peaceful and grounded within themselves. Her classes have been said to be like a moving meditation, a place people feel safe to accept all of themselves, exactly as they are and a deep meditative experience. Kate’s authenticity and transparency around her own experiences, helps you to feel comfortable and normal. Her greatest “achievement” in her teaching has been the day a student told her ” Because you’re so open and honest about your stuff, it makes me feel okay about my stuff” She is very passionate about removing the need to be perfect, the need to be something, anything, other than who we really are. Accepting all of ourselves, the good and the bad.

Tina Summers – Senior Yoga Teacher
My name is Tina Summers & I have been a Yoga practitioner since 2002 & a teacher of this incredible thousands of year-old practice since 2008. I am very humbled & honoured to have found this practice & continue to learn more & more over the years as I feel this is my calling to share with others.
Coming from a background of abandonment at childhood to addiction & nihilistic behaviour in teenage years, I was a late starter to Yoga at 29, due to numerous accumulative health issues from my previous years. Unlike other Yogis I was not born into it; I wouldn’t even call myself a natural at the physical postures. But from my first class I knew this was the key to unlock my destiny & to help, solve the ever-longing question as to why I was here & why I was given “this life”.
Someone told me once – “When the student is ready the teacher will find you”. And I believe this to this very day. When you have the willingness to dedicate yourself to giving a little time each day for yourself, the lessons & guidance will be there. Taking that little time each day to move loving energy & information through your body, will set you up with the tools & energy to help share that with others. As to what else is there in life to help yourself & others enjoy this time we have?!
My teachers have been varied over the years beginning with my first beautiful teacher Ben Sofowora who was my inspiration to become a teacher. Though I had a long journey ahead he planted the seed. I’ve had many teachers including the incredible Nicky Knoff, Peter Ujvari of Shadow Yoga, Clive Sheridan, Mark Whitwell, Tracy Gray, Kaya Slater & my current beautiful teachers Bianca Machliss & Simon Borg-Olivier of Yoga Synergy. I have also had some training from Master Yang of Calligraphy Health which is the Chinese Yoga style of Qi Gong.
I have combined all these beautiful teaching styles to incorporate my style of Yoga for the modern body. We no longer sit on the floor to work, eat, rest or even to go to the toilet. We no longer cart our food for miles on our heads or balanced on our shoulders. Our lives have changed & with that Yoga has remained adaptable & still relevant, possibly more so than ever for this lifetime. My teacher Simon says – “Exercise is optional, Movement is vital”.
In the past 8 years I have begun chanting of sacred transcendental mantras & learning to play the harmonium, delving into Nada Yoga. I have also begun my Sound Healing practice with crystal sound bowls & various other instruments to help people retune their bodies for ultimate health & relaxation.
Vanessa Searle – Level 2 Yoga Teacher & Sound Therapist
At the young age of 14yrs Vanessa experienced meditation through breath on her own as she sat for hours by herself down the beach trying to find peace from her stressful family life with a disabled dad and sister and mentally unstable mother. It was during this time that she also discovered how to produce a sensory deprivation state of mind through underwater breathe work. Little did she know that this would lead her into years of studying the body mind connection through yoga, natural therapies, holistic health and psychology releasing years of her personal inner turmoil.
It wasn’t until finishing her Bach Degree in Arts/Science in 2004 that she decided it was time to undertake her Level 1 YTT in Radiant Light Yoga with Adam and Nila Bornstein graduating in 2005. This qualification taught her Vinyasa Yoga Asana, Pranayama, Yoga Therapy, Kirtan, and Meditation (including Yoga Nidra). From here she knew she had to spend time in India and so took a 3mth journey in 2006 to study Ayurvedic medicine, traditional Keralyan music and further her studies as a Hatha Yoga Teacher, training for 160hrs with a Brahman in Kerala, India and bringing these teachings to her students in Cairns.
She started studying an Adv Dip in Homeopathy and 2yrs later met her husband James, became a step-mum to his twins and went from a mother of one to a mother of four, birthing her second son Oliver a short 12 mths later. During these years Vanessa taught on and off as a fill in teacher but decided to go back to study and completed her Dip as a Remedial Massage Therapist and opened her current business Soukya Health and Well Being. Her thirst for knowledge and healing was so strong that she continued on studying and become a Professional Kinesiologist wanting to support others to release past issues and grow into a better version on themselves. In 2017 Vanessa went back to study more yoga and completed her Level 2- 150 hour Post Graduate Yoga Teacher Training with One Family Yoga and Fitness. She studied Modules including: Restorative Yoga; Advanced Adjusting and Modifications Using Props and Yoga Nidra. She then furthered her trainings in 2018- completing further Yoga Therapy Training in Therapeutic Applications of Posture, Movement and Breathing, with Simon Borg Olivier.
Vanessa is certified as a Level 2 Yoga Teacher, Professional Kinesiologist, BWRT Practitioner, Wellness Coach, Emotion & Body code Practitioner, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Remedial Massage Therapist.
Kellie Judd – Yoga Teacher / Therapist
Kellie has practiced Yoga off and on for 31 years and completed Level 1 Teacher Training in 2012 when she jumped straight into full time teaching. She has over 8500 hours teaching experience in class, one on one and on many a yoga retreat she has curated.
From 2015 – 2017 Kellie studied a comprehensive post graduate training course totaling 600 hours with Yoga Therapy Australia and internationally renowned Yoga Therapist and allopathic Doctor N. Chandrasekaren, affectionately called Dr NC.
Enjoy Kellies classes as a beginner or an advanced student together. Yoga Therapy has taught Kellie a much deeper understanding of the constitution body/mind and spirit and an ability to detect what is happening just by observing the way a person walks, talks and holds themselves. Where this applies in a class setting Kellie has ability to offer a range of pose options along the spectrum of bigger poses in an empowering way and encouraging self-healing through softness, as a personal experience of love. Kellie loves watching students grow and bloom in their practice, discovering things they never thought they could do and have fun doing it.
Shayne Warburton – Sound Therapist / Reiki Practitioner
I went on my first retreat at Easter 2018, it was also my first attempt at yoga. Thus started a love affair between my mind, body, spirit which continues to this day. I was needing a change and it certainly happened. The improvement on, not only my physical body, but my mind and spirit has been amazing. I have continued practicing yoga, meditation, and mantra since then. It has been wonderfully healing for my mental health: trauma, PTSD, and depression.
I have worked in Community Services for many years supporting people from a trauma informed, strengths-based ideology. Walking alongside and supporting people who struggle with trauma, mental health, drug and alcohol addiction and victim/survivors of DVF. The support has not only been confined to practical responses but emotional and psychological too: responding with genuine compassion, respect, and integrity. These same principles of trauma informed, working towards a person’s strengths, and showing compassion and respect overflow into what I do now in the healing space.
Meditation, mantra, breathwork are amazing practices for mindfulness and going deeper into relaxation and release. I combine these with Tibetan and crystal sound bowls to assist and support people to experience deeper states of relaxation and release which in turn is wonderful for their mental, physical, and spiritual health and wellbeing. It is such a privilege to be supporting people in this way.
I now practice meditation and mantra daily and have recently incorporated Tibetan bowls into this. I continue to attend yoga classes so I too can be nourished and energised: and learn new asana’s, breathwork and meditation.
- 50-hour Tibetan Sound Bowl Course
- Reiki Level 2
- Sound as Medicine Course – Healing through Sound & Frequency
