About Our Rooms

Please note: Due to the closure and downsizing of YogaSol to a new location in Ferny Hills we will only be taking room rental bookings until 31st Jan 2024. 

Claire will have a small space available for rent at her home studio in Ferny Hills once renovations are complete.

Closure of YogaSol

Shiva

Shiva is the larger of our two rooms with large West facing windows from floor to ceiling, with soft curtains to allow natural light through. A large tree sits outside the studio window which brings additional privacy to the room, while helping shade the room from the mid-afternoon sun. Shiva has two air-conditioning units in the room for the hot days, and two wall mounted heaters for our colder months. Acoustically, Shiva performs very well for events that include instruments being played; the sound carries fantastically in the room. Wall mounted speakers carry sound beautifully through the room which can be accessed through our computer on reception.

Shiva can hold a maximum of 21 people for movement based classes/workshops (eg; yoga/pilates), and up to 42 can fit for stillness classes/workshops (eg; meditation/seminars). We do find 30 to be the magic number for stillness classes/events in terms of comfort for those participating.

Lakshmi

Lakshmi is our smaller room with a more intimate feel with a beautiful feminine energy. With limited windows this room can be turned into a darker, relaxing space throughout the day for events that require a softer setting such as meditation. With carpeted floors, and a reverse cycle air-conditioning unit this space is quite comforting and relaxing. There are no speakers in Lakshmi, but a wireless speaker can be provided to connect to your own device if you wish for music to be played.

Lakshmi can hold a maximum of 8 people for movement based classes/workshops (eg; yoga/pilates), and can hold up to 20 for stillness classes/events. We do find in Lakshmi that 15 is the magic number for stillness classes/events in terms of comfort for those participating.

Massage/Treatment Rooms

We have three rooms that can be rented for body work and/or consultation purposes. One room has an electric massage table, single seat lounge, and a sink/bench work space. Our second room has a standard massage table, along with a round timber table for sitting with your clients. Our third room is a smaller intimate space, and holds sound beautifully. All rooms are air-conditioned, our two larger rooms have built in speakers which can be accessed via the computer at reception, and the rooms have multiple soft lighting lamps for adequate light but also creating a softer, rejuvenating space.

Disclaimer

All workshops/classes/events must provide something different from our regular timetable and not be product based, as we are a consumer free environment.

You will not be covered under Yogasol public liability insurance.

To run workshops or treat clients at YogaSol you must hold a certificate of currency in your relevant modality and have a current First Aid Certificate
